Burning Oils vs Body Oils vs Essential Oils

We receive questions about oil types such as, what is the difference between oils and can body oils be used in the burner. We hope we answer some of your questions in this blog episode.
There is a huge difference in fragrance oils and essential oils. Fragrance oils are synthetic oils used for the body or the burner. They are created with a mix of natural ingredients like essential oil, extracts and resins with aroma chemicals. Body and burning oils are cut differently and it is not advised to use body oils in your lamp or diffuser.
Essential oils are steam-distilled pure plant extracts used for scenting, flavoring, or healing applications in aromatherapy. Essential oils are 100% pure, uncut and extremely potent. If you want to use essential oils in your burner you must dilute it with water.
